Led by Ed Kline, the 169 members of the Delaware County Emergency Response Team train civilians to be personally prepared for emergencies and be able to help others. They are trained to put out small fires, basic first aid and CPR, basic utility emergency safety and management, and how to organize and lead a group of spontaneous volunteers. Activities include training and exercises, local response during an emergency, and can be developed outside of the county.
